Hotel Majestic Terrace
This is one place where you’ll find few tourists and no locals. And that’s perfect, because we don’t want to share it with anyone. Ignore the hotel bar downstairs and turn right to the lift that goes straight to the terrace. It is open to the public, well kind of, better not to ask. But there’s a fine bar up there and deckchairs facing the chic boulevard Passeig de Gracia. You kick back, dangle your feet off the edge, gaze at the city laid out in front f you all the way to the ocean and put a sweet smile on your face as the waiter asks you what room number you want to charge your gin and tonic to. Actually, I’d prefer to pay for this in cash, it’ll only complicate my room bill. Yes, olives would be lovely, thank you. If you feel really daring you could bring a swimsuit, the small but smart pool is right behind you.
me gustan tus chanclas
